The Legacy of the Jutti

Podes are juttis made by our team of skilled artisans based in Punjab, India.

Originating in North India during the Mughal era, these shoes were once the footwear of kings and queens—crafted with intricate detail, fine leather, and delicate embroidery. Over centuries, they’ve evolved from royal tradition to contemporary statement, carrying with them the artistry and heritage of generations.

Hi! I’m Sapna. Growing up around rich Indian craftsmanship, I dreamed of showcasing my culture to the world. Pode is my way of sharing that dream, wrapped in soft soles, beautiful art and a whole lot of love.
